So we went to see "That Puppet Guy" at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center on Thursday. It was a great time for all four of us. (Ann, me, Tori and Cayden) Grammy had Emalee for the day, so she had a lot of fun too. The show of the day was Pinnochio, using "found object" puppetry. The performer was very entertaining for both children and adults. His version of pinnochio was crafted from a small basket, plastic spoons, and an old picnic basket. He lost his gold fortune in a ponzy scheme. A good time was had by all, and Cayden is still talking about his time at "the real -live puppet show." It felt good to support a local artist, and we followed it up by supporting a local eatery, The Red Salt Pub. If you are looking for good fish and chips around here, give them a try!
